Northern California
From Bay to Coast to Sierra
Northern California brings together a curated group of works shaped by the region’s remarkable range of landscape, architecture, and light. From San Francisco Bay and Alcatraz to the redwoods of Muir Woods, the Monterey Peninsula, Highway 1, Big Sur, and Yosemite, the collection follows a visual journey from city and water to forest, coastline, and granite.
Each artwork begins with original photography captured on location and is transformed through Falcon Pass Studio’s watercolor-inspired process. Familiar landmarks, rugged shoreline, quiet forests, and expansive mountain views are refined to emphasize atmosphere, texture, and the lasting impression of place.
Collected as a whole, these works reflect the contrasts that make Northern California distinctive: historic architecture beside open water, towering redwoods above shaded trails, the Pacific meeting dramatic cliffs, and Yosemite’s monumental forms rising from the Sierra landscape.
